Calcium lactate content analysis

Weigh calcium lactate equivalent (C6H10CaO6)

about 350mg of the Sodium lactate, dissolved in dilute

hydrochloric acid solution containing 2ml (TS-

117) in 150ml of water. Under stirring

(preferably with a magnetic stirrer) with 50ml

burette added 0.05mol / L EDTA disodium

approximately 30ml, plus sodium hydroxide

solution (TS-224) 15ml and hydroxy phenol blue

indicator 300mg, Lactic acid titration until the

blue color finish. Per ml, 0.05mol/LEDTA

disodium equivalent of calcium lactate

(C6H10CaO6) 10.91mg.
